Prostate Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among men in Canada. In Alberta, 1 in 6 men will recieve a prostate cancer diagnosis.
Unfortunately, early warning signs are often absent, leading to over 400 men dying from this disease each year in the province. Early detection significantly increases the chance of survival.
The Prostate Cancer Centre (PCC) is a registered charity focused on the early detection and treatment of prostate cancer. We offer one-stop support with comprehensive programs and services for patients and their families through every step of their journey – from education, to blood testing for early prostate cancer detection, to post-operative care and mental wellness support. Located in the Southern Alberta Institute of Urology at the Rockyview Hospital, the PCC sees over 22,000 men walk through our doors annually.
We operate solely on the generosity of our community and donors, and look forward to partnering with your organization to raise vital funds for the PCC. We could not do this without your support.
