This summer, cyclists from across North America will gather in Thornsby for a weekend of challenge, camaraderie, and cause. The Festivus of Gravel is not your typical bike race, it’s a high-energy gravel cycling festival where riders take on rough terrain and rolling hills, all while raising funds for organizations that matter. And this year, the Prostate Cancer Centre is proud to be one of the beneficiaries.
Among the brave and determined riders is our very own Don Charnaw, who will be tackling the course while championing men’s health. Don isn’t just racing, he’s fundraising to support the Prostate Cancer Centre’s mission of providing accessible care, early detection, and support for men facing prostate cancer. Every kilometer he rides is dedicated to the thousands of Albertan men whose lives are impacted by this disease each year.
Events like the Festivus of Gravel highlight the power of community and the importance of proactive health care. With Don leading the charge, we’re reminded that every effort, whether it’s pedaling through gravel roads or making a donation—helps drive real change.
Want to support Don’s ride and make a difference?
Your contribution will directly support the Prostate Cancer Centre’s MAN VAN® program.
Let’s rally behind Don and show that when it comes to men’s health, we’re all in it together.
