In Trever’s words:
“On November 9, 2019 at 44-years-old, I was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 9. Up to and even after diagnosis, I felt no signs or symptoms that anything was wrong. My prostate cancer was found because my family doctor sent me for a simple PSA blood test. After being diagnosed, I was completely shocked and initially thought it was a death sentence.
However, I was diagnosed early enough and treated by the amazing medical professionals at Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre. I now have a very promising and bright future ahead of me.
My message to all men is get checked! I am proof that early detection is key to treating prostate cancer.”
