Our volunteers are our most valuable resource. Many of our volunteers have experienced Prostate Cancer firsthand and generously share their time, insight and experience. Opportunities are available both within the Centre and in the community.
In Alberta, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. When detected early, prostate cancer is one of the most successfully treated types of cancer.
The staff and volunteers at the Prostate Cancer Centre are dedicated to educating men about the importance of early detection.
