It’s oft said, if a little is good, a lot is better. So here’s a look at a super Stampede party that was not featured last week due to space considerations.
The 18th annual Scott Land STOMP, held at the Wildhorse Saloon was attended by more than 600 guests. Scott Land and Lease has been the top land buyer in the oil and gas industry for 24 consecutive years. Such laudable success is cause to party-but with a purpose. Sure, the event was scaled down from last year (as were most events), but the STOMP none-the-less raised $24,230 for Calgary’s Prostate Cancer Centre.
Hosts with the most Gregg Scott-and his son Ryan Scott hardly had time to sip a beer as they were kept busy all night greeting clients and friends the likes of: Grafton Asset Management’s Thomas Schenk and Dave West; Ruth Cross, Sifton Petroleum; Greg Strachan, Nexen Energy; Helen Klein, Polar Star Canadian Oil and Gas; Boardwalk REIT Properties & Holdings’ Michael Guyette and Lorenzo Bellucsi; ARC Resources’ Murielle Montsion; Lightstream Resources’ Kim Morton; and ConocoPhillips Canada Resources’ Craig Williamson, Cuc Dang and Patricia Montsion-Dubrule, to name but a few.
