Kilts, sashes and yarmulkes were centre stage Feb. 13 as several hundred guests gathered at the Beth Tzedec to celebrate the third annual Robbie Burnstein Dinner. “This crowd-pleasing fusion event blends some of the sights, sounds and flavours of Scotland with Jewish customs and traditions” said event organizer and chair Leonard Seidman. The SRO dinner was not only a ton of fun but philanthropic as well, with proceeds raised being split between the Beth Tzedec Congregation and the Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre.
