Farmers in Southern Alberta will have easier access to prostate cancer screening, thanks to a new rural Man-Van! This Van will tour through communities and the difference it will make is huge. Unveiled in High River the Man-Van is only the second of its kind in Canada.
In Alberta, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. When detected early, prostate cancer is one of the most successfully treated types of cancer.
The staff and volunteers at the Prostate Cancer Centre are dedicated to educating men about the importance of early detection.
