On August 11th, the sport of golf and men’s health were incorporated to produce a very successful tournament. The MAN VAN™ was on site giving the players access to not only PSA blood tests, but blood glucose, blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) testing too. 22 men were tested. Thank you to all of the players and organizers that made this tournament such a success!
In Alberta, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. When detected early, prostate cancer is one of the most successfully treated types of cancer.
The staff and volunteers at the Prostate Cancer Centre are dedicated to educating men about the importance of early detection.
