Edmonton, AB – The MAN VAN® will be rolling into Edmonton this Saturday, serving two local communities ahead of Father’s Day.

On Saturday July 14th the clinic will be set up in Kingsway Mall, on the second floor outside Gap Kids. MAN VAN® staff and volunteers will be onsite from 11am until 2pm, providing free PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) blood testing for men aged 40-70, as well as blood sugar, blood pressure, and mental wellness checks for all men over the age of 18.

The MAN VAN® then makes it’s way over to the Edmonton Father’s Day Gala at the Polish Hall Conference Centre, 104 St NW, from 6pm-9pm. Both Gala attendees and the public will be able to visit the clinic, which will be set up outside the venue.

Both of Saturday’s events are completely free, and no appointments are needed. This Father’s Day weekend, encourage the men in your life to advocate for their health and visit the MAN VAN®. With 1 in 6 Alberta men diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, early detection is vital, and this quick blood test could save a life.

About the MAN VAN®
The MAN VAN® is Canada’s first and Alberta’s only mobile men’s health clinic, operated by the Prostate Cancer Centre (PCC). Designed to make Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood testing more accessible, the MAN VAN® travels to communities across Alberta, providing free, quick, and confidential PSA tests for men ages 40-70 as well as mental wellness checks for men ages 18+. By bringing testing directly to workplaces, community events, Indigenous communities, and rural areas, the MAN VAN® removes barriers to early detection of prostate cancer. Funded by generous donors and corporate sponsors, this life-saving initiative empowers men to advocate for their health
