Calgary prostate cancer fundraiser features prairie oyster craft beers

Wrestling prostate cancer to the canvas with the help of beer might have gotten easier for an annual Calgary fundraiser.  Former grappling star Bret “Hitman” Hart has signed on, along with prominent entrepreneur W. Brett Wilson, to Village Brewery’s booze-fuelled assault on the men’s disease that has launched with a ballsy twist. The two, along with Postmedia columnist Bill Brooks and brewery founder Jim Button, have crafted signature casks bolstered with bull testicles. It’s prairie oyster nectar that’ll be sold off at $100 a pint for the benefit of Calgary’s Prostate Cancer Centre.
