An Important Update from Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre

Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases within Alberta, Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre has made the difficult decision to temporarily pause our efforts to reintroduce the MAN VAN into the community. As always, the health and safety of our patients, staff, volunteers, partners, and community remains our biggest consideration. Please know we are working hard to ensure that the MAN VAN program can be back on the road once it is safe to do so.

For now, all September MAN VAN clinics have been cancelled. Staff working from the office continue to to practice continuous masking, frequent hand hygiene, and constant disinfection of high touch surfaces. Staff complete daily COVID-19 questionnaires and stay home if experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. We have also put a hold on the return of our volunteers. Other measures will continue to be implemented as we receive more information.

We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to have the MAN VAN running soon and our volunteers back in the office with us. As more information unfolds, we will continue to provide updates to our community. In the meantime, please do not forget about the importance of annual checkups and PSA testing.

To stay connected with us during this time, please:

Thank you for your continued support of Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre. We are eagerly awaiting the day we can safely be in the community again. Until then, we wish you good health as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together.
