Peer Support

You'll be greeted by a volunteer when you visit the Prostate Cancer Centre's Resource Centre. Each gentleman has had a personal experience with the disease and our motto is: "Ask anything".  Medically sound literature, videos and pamphlets are available to aid you in your decision making. The resource center is open from 8:00-4:00 weekdays.

PEER SUPPORT

Peer Support is provided on site to enhance the patient's ability to develop effective life management strategies. Support is critical when facing the stresses of prostate cancer or prostate-related disease.  Volunteers at the Resource Centre have experience with prostate cancer. They offer assistance in accessing information, as well as providing compassionate support.  Our caring staff and volunteers make the Prostate Cancer Centre a place where you, or someone you care about, can come for answers and support.
