Life after Prostate Cancer  Program

Helping Men Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and their families access Wellness Information and Services.

This free one-session program provides prostate cancer patients , either before or after treatment , an opportunity to gather information about a range of services available in the community to promote wellness.

Presentations by: 

  • Registered Dietitian -nutrition
  • Pelvic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist- continence exercises 
  • Health and Wellness , Faculty of Kinesiology, U of C -fitness
  • Clinical Psychologist, Tom Baker Cancer Centre -sexual intimacy

The Wellness Program is intended for men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. This program provides them with the support and guidance they need to alter their lifestyle to help overcome their health challenges. A focus on fitness, nutrition, counseling and stress management gives our patients and their families the knowledge and resources to successfully face new challenges they may be experiencing before and after their treatment. 

Wellness clinics are held at the Centre on the fourth Tuesday of the month from  1:00 - 3:30 PM
